A casual matching game, there are 100 levels (+ 20 bonus random levels like matching or puzzles or Mahjongg) of matching 6 or more balls to clear them before the screen gets too full. But most of those levels morph through each level, and you'll often get stuck wasting turns to get enough of the color you need. It starts out fun, but gets tedious. There's a 'city management' game as well, but it's exceedingly shallow, and basically just earns you extra abilities for the matching game, and money to buy more buildings (or clothes for your character)There's a lot here, and it does play out pretty well (even if the story is utterly forgettable), but I put in 14 hours over many months before finally finishing it. It's the epitome of a time waster. Nothing wrong with that, except it feels like it wastes more time than it strictly should.. Decent enough casual timewaster. Doesn't stand out in any special way, and the main puzzle solving mechanic eventually becomes tedious and boring, but I can't complain considering how long it was relatively enjoyable for me vs. how much I bought it for. Most things outside that is pretty clunky, such as the tepid attempt at a mahjong minigame. The "strategy" aspect is very light and doesn't require that much "strategizing" besides besides having a very basic foresight to see what you need to save money for and making the buildings, tress and decoration fit, but whatever, no one's buying this game for the strategy.Since it's not much more than an above-average kongregate game despite the main puzzle mechanics being relatively unique, I can only really recommend it at a reduced cost or as a part of a bundle.. This game just doesn't hold my interest and I'm not even sure why, as I've played other games of this type before and enjoyed them. I agree with the other reviewers who say it becomes boring and pointless very quickly. I suppose if you really like this type of game and you can get it on sale it might be worth it, as there is nothing technically wrong with it.. A non-violent game, consisting of several different mini-games, usually based on 6 adjacent colored balls on different boards which can change while playing. Another mini-game releases coins by matching colors down, and there are Mah-Jhong and jigsaw puzzles. The player selects a character, gender, facial and body characteristics and dress. Over time, the player builds a town, unfortunately fairly small, and gets rent, which can be applied to other clothing items. Overall, the game takes a long time, but one can easily quit and come back later. My wife and I spent 32 hours together and enjoyed the time. There are a couple of different bonus mini-games we could play, and we might just start all over someday. Recommended for turn-based board-style gaming and accessorizing the character.. got this game for like 0,05$ hahaha what should i expect. Not a bad game but it doesn't have that spark that makes me want to play it.I've played hundreds of Flash games similar to the mini-games in Hexus and the vast majority have been better: relying on the Egyptian theme gets irritating after a while (especially in the 'Egyptian' Mahjong where I still don't know why sometimes colour matters and sometimes it doesn't).I find the main game tedious and far too easy (it's taken to about lv60 before I had to use any thought or powerups). You havea little city to build and upgrade to produce the powerups for use in the main game but I'd maxed out all of them for about 30-40 lvs before I needed to touch them... which makes caring about the city very pointless. Equally being able to dress your avatar is equally pointless as the only time you ever see that avatar is on the 'dress' screen.Overall I'd say Hexus is a nice idea that nearly works but just doesn't quick click together. Might be worth picking up cheap in a sale but finding flash games on the internet is probably going to be more rewarding.. BRILLIANT GAME LOVE THE PUZZLES.. fun, simple enough and captivating. Worth it!!! :). Decent game for passing the time. This game does have some bugs - but is still recommended.A solid nice little time-waster. The puzzles aren't too complex, so if you're looking for a massive challenge, look elsewhere. Nice little friendly game that has a bit of variation in the puzzles, so far I've come accross 6 different types I think, might have been 7.....There are some fairly blatant spelling errors, so if this is going to break the game for you, avoid, but this is the only major flaw in this game.
